Account Deletion

1. In-App Deletion

After logging in with a Google account, users may request account deletion from Settings > Account > Delete account.

2. Web Request

If a user cannot access the app or has uninstalled it, the user may request deletion by emailing ryukevinhouse@gmail.com. The request should include the Google account email used for Hai, information needed to verify ownership, and a clear deletion request.

Email requests are processed after account ownership is verified. Hai may request the minimum additional information needed for verification and may reject an unverified third-party request.

Verified requests are handled without undue delay and, unless a specific legal retention obligation applies, completed within 30 days of the request.

3. Deleted Data

Account data, login sessions, Google OAuth tokens and connection status, Todoist and Notion OAuth tokens, original RSS, Atom, podcast, ICS, and WebCal URLs, selected external data sources and caches, alarms, routines, settings, device and push tokens, device sync state, identifiable location data, home, work, and destination addresses, identifiable briefing records, user prompts, and Google or external service data are deleted.

When an in-app deletion request is accepted, Hai immediately invalidates all login sessions and device or push tokens, removes Google credentials and external connection tokens, original URLs, selections, and caches, and disables alarms. The account enters a deletion-pending state in which it cannot sign in or run alarms and routines.

The recovery period lasts 7 days from acceptance of the request. During this period, account data is used only to process a recovery request or final deletion and is not used to provide the ordinary Service. If no recovery is requested within 7 days, Hai automatically performs final deletion of identifiable data and separately retains only pseudonymized or legally required records permitted by this policy.

Support requests are processed within a reasonable period after verification. Data subject to a legal retention duty or an active dispute may be isolated and retained only for that purpose before deletion.

Deletion-targeted data remaining in service backups is not restored into or reused by the live Service. It remains access-restricted until overwritten or deleted under the backup life cycle. YouTube authorized data is deleted no later than 30 days after revocation or a deletion request.

4. Pseudonymized or Legally Restricted Retention

Limited statistics such as AI and tool usage, processing status, feature category, country or language, plan, and billing status may be separated under a random retention identifier and converted to month-level or range values for analytics, quality improvement, security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

These pseudonymized and aggregated statistics are retained for no more than 24 months after account deletion and then deleted. Original briefing or prompt text; Gmail, Calendar, Tasks, YouTube, or Google Drive user data; raw RSS, podcast, or external-calendar data; Todoist tasks; Notion metadata; titles; names; organizations; event or file names; addresses; links; exact timestamps; Google, Todoist, or Notion access or refresh tokens; external source URLs; and account identifiers are not retained for analytics. Retained statistics are not used to reconnect records to a deleted account.

Contract and withdrawal records and payment or service-supply records may be retained separately for 5 years, consumer complaint, dispute, and support records for 3 years after the latest handling, and display or advertising records for 6 months where required by law. Such records may include the account email, order, product and purchase identifiers, plan, amount, status and processing time needed to prove a transaction, or the inquiry email, inquiry and reply content, and handling time. They are not used for any other purpose.

5. Connection Permissions and Subscriptions

When a deletion request is accepted, Hai removes stored Google access tokens, refresh tokens, approved scopes, and connection status. Users may also revoke Hai's access from Google's connected apps and services page.

Hai also immediately deletes Todoist and Notion OAuth tokens, original external source URLs, selected data sources, and related caches. Users may separately revoke Hai from Todoist or Notion connection settings.

If a Google Play subscription is active, Hai requests immediate cancellation where technically possible, but users should verify the final cancellation state in Google Play subscription management. Account deletion or subscription cancellation does not automatically refund previous charges.

Restoring an account during the recovery period does not automatically restore Google permissions, a Google Play subscription, device connections, or enabled alarms. The user must review the subscription state, reconnect the required Google permissions, and manually enable alarms to be used.

6. Recovery, Effect of Deletion, and Contact

Within 7 days after a deletion request, the user may request account recovery by emailing ryukevinhouse@gmail.com. Recovery is available only after account ownership is verified and before the deletion deadline.

After the 7-day recovery period and final deletion, the account and identifiable data cannot be recovered. App cache or notifications remaining on a device may need to be removed separately by uninstalling the app, signing out, or using operating-system settings.
